I want my blog to be a place where everyone can share how to take data security into their own hands. We frequently count on information technology professionals to help us protect our data, which is fine. However, there are plenty of things we can do to protect what we know needs to be kept to ourselves or confined to a group and shared with no one else. We want to be able to act whenever we have something to secure, without having to wait for someone else to help.

Like other security companies, my company, Fortressware, has been focusing on providing data leak prevention solutions to large enterprises. But I have decided that it is time that we focus on each individual’s needs as well. After all, it’s the individual who recognizes best which data should be
